Gamepass tier list

All six Act Dead or OOF gamepasses ranked by how much they change your game, using the effects quoted on the official Roblox listings. The Scythe defines the Hunter experience, x2 Permanent doubles your Hunter rounds, and x2 Yen doubles every round's payout. x2 Vote is the cheap outlier — it only doubles your say in the map vote. The two newest, Trident and Sea Knife, went on sale during the summer event with no stated effect, so they sit in their own unproven tier.

S — Must-buy

The single most impactful purchase here.

Scythe

139 R$

Official Roblox listing: "Scythe! -5% Speed Boost when Equipped!" — the game's signature melee tool, with a small movement trade-off while it is out. Editorial: the power-fantasy purchase for players who queue for the Hunter role and want to chase anyone who twitches.

A — High value

Strong picks for committed or progressing players.

x2 Permanent

499 R$

Official Roblox listing: "Get x2 the amount of rounds when you are Hunter!" — a permanent doubling of the rounds you get whenever you are picked as the Hunter. Editorial: the biggest upfront spend, and only worth it if the Hunter role is the reason you play.

x2 Yen

99 R$

Official Roblox listing: "Earn Twice As Much Yen From A Round!" — a permanent 2x multiplier on the Yen you earn each round, not a one-off currency bundle. Editorial: the steadiest progression pass for players still unlocking things.

B — Situational

Cheap, niche, and fun if the role appeals to you.

x2 Vote

67 R$

Official Roblox listing: "2x Map Voting" — your vote counts twice when the lobby picks the next map. Editorial: the cheapest pass in the game and a quality-of-life pick, not a combat or progression upgrade.

C — Unproven

Limited-time event tools with no effect documented by 79studios yet.

Trident

499 R$

Official Roblox listing: "*Limited Time Tool for SUMMER EVENT*" — added to the store on August 2, 2026 alongside the [SUMMER] rename, matching the trident emoji in the game's title. 79studios has not published what it does in a round. Editorial: tied with x2 Permanent as the most expensive purchase in the game, but the only one whose in-game effect is undocumented, so we rate it unproven rather than good or bad.

Sea Knife

259 R$

Official Roblox listing: "*Limited Time Tool for SUMMER EVENT*" — first appeared July 30, 2026 at R$0 and not for sale, then went live at R$259 on August 2, 2026. Its price history is publicly logged. 79studios has not published its in-round effect. Editorial: cheaper than the Trident, but the same caveat applies — unproven until the studio documents what it does.

FAQ

Tier list questions

What is the best gamepass in the title?

The Scythe is the highest-tier gamepass because it powers the Hunter role directly, but Permanent and Yen offer better long-term progression value for survivors. The right pick depends on whether you prefer hunting or surviving.

Are these tiers official?

No. The S–C tiers on this page are an editorial assessment by the guide's writers, based on each pass's utility, price, and how often it changes outcomes. They are clearly labelled as opinion, not developer rankings.

Why are the Trident and Sea Knife rated C?

Because 79studios has not published what either tool does in a round. Both went on sale during the summer event — the Trident at R$499 on August 2, 2026 and the Sea Knife at R$259 the same day, after sitting at R$0 and off sale since July 30. We can verify their prices, listing dates and "Limited Time Tool for SUMMER EVENT" descriptions, but not their effect, so we rate them unproven instead of inventing a benefit.

Should a new player buy Yen first?

For new survivors, the Yen gamepass is usually the most efficient first buy because it speeds up progression and unlocks without a long grind. Vote is the cheapest entry point if you just want to try a purchase.
