Act Dead or OOF Vote
Vote — listed on Roblox as x2 Vote — is the budget pass in Act Dead or OOF at a one-time R$67, and the cheapest of the six passes currently on sale. Its official description is one line: “2x Map Voting”. This page covers what that actually buys you, who it suits, and how it compares. Ranking every purchase? Start with the gamepass tier list.
What Vote does
Between rounds the lobby votes on which map to play next. The x2 Vote gamepass makes your vote count twice in that ballot — nothing more, nothing less. It is a lobby convenience, not a combat or progression upgrade, and it changes nothing once the round starts and everyone freezes as mannequins.
- Type: lobby / map-selection utility. It does not arm the Hunter (that is Scythe), it is not a currency multiplier (that is x2 Yen), and it does not affect how long you survive.
- Playstyle fit: regulars who have favourite maps and get tired of losing the vote to the rest of the lobby.
- Budget: at R$67 it is the cheapest thing you can buy in the game.
Note: this is an unofficial fan guide. Everything above comes from the official Roblox gamepass listing (“2x Map Voting”) — 79studios does not publish exact vote-weight values, and we will not invent them. Some fan pages describe this pass as a way to vote players out; that is not what the listing says.
Vote vs the other gamepasses
Act Dead or OOF currently sells six gamepasses, all with real prices and official descriptions from the Roblox listing:
- x2 Vote — R$67.The budget pick: “2x Map Voting”.
- x2 Yen — R$99.The closest price neighbour: “Earn Twice As Much Yen From A Round” — a permanent earnings multiplier.
- Scythe — R$139.A Hunter tool: “-5% Speed Boost when Equipped”.
- x2 Permanent — R$499.The premium pass: “x2 the amount of rounds when you are Hunter”.
Tier placements on this site are editorial opinion; prices and descriptions are the real Roblox figures. All six passes have dedicated guides — compare them for your own playstyle with the gamepass value calculator, and pick up round-winning habits in the tips & tricks guide.
Cheap, but it only buys map influence
At R$67 the risk is small, but so is the payoff: a doubled map vote does not help you survive a single round. If you play often enough to care which map comes up it is a fine impulse buy; if you want your Robux to change how rounds go, x2 Yen or Scythe do more. Compare all six on the calculator, and check the FAQ for how gamepasses interact with normal play.
Vote questions
What does the Vote gamepass do in Act Dead or OOF?
The pass is listed on Roblox as "x2 Vote" and its official description is simply "2x Map Voting". It doubles the weight of your vote when the lobby picks the next map — it does not affect the Hunter, your survival, or anything inside a round.
How much does the Vote gamepass cost?
Vote is listed at R$67 on the official Roblox store page for Act Dead or OOF, making it the cheapest of the six gamepasses. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
Is Vote worth buying compared to Yen?
They do very different jobs. Vote (R$67) is map-selection quality of life; x2 Yen (R$99) permanently doubles the Yen you earn per round, which compounds every time you play. If you only buy one, Yen does more for progression — our editorial tier list places Vote below it on overall utility.
Does Vote guarantee the map you want?
No. Your vote counts twice, but the lobby still decides — in a busy server the other players can easily outvote a doubled single vote. Beyond the official "2x Map Voting" line, 79studios does not publish exact vote-weight maths, and we will not invent numbers.
